SIROWA SACCO Visits St Anne's Anglican Church of Kenya (ACK) and Provides Financial Literacy to Mothers Union Members

SIROWA SACCO had the pleasure of visiting St Anne's Anglican Church of Kenya (ACK) on March 19th, 2023, as part of a gathering sponsored by 5,000 members of the Mothers Union from Renja Church, St Monica Church, Rae Church, and St Steven's Cathedral. During this visit, SIROWA SACCO told church members and the Mothers Union about the advantages of being SACCO members, which can significantly improve their financial well-being.

SIROWA SACCO's presentation highlighted the different benefits that SACCO members might enjoy over the course of a year. SIROWA SACCO recognizes that financial stability is an important aspect of a person's overall wellness, and they have gone to great lengths to guarantee that its members have access to the most significant financial services and products available.

Welfare services are one of the main advantages that SIROWA SACCO members receive. For the length of the year, members have access to National Hospital Insurance Fund (NHIF) coverage, ensuring they are protected in the event of any medical crises. Members now have access to the last expense fund, from which they can receive up to KES 250,000 for five family members. This is notably helpful in cases of sudden death, when families may find it difficult to cover the costs of funerals.

The payment of education expenses is another perk available to SIROWA SACCO members. Depending on their needs, members might obtain coverage worth between KES 55,000 and KES 110,000 annually. Families that struggle to pay the high expense of education in Kenya would especially benefit from this.

Members of SIROWA SACCO have the opportunity to both save money and earn dividends. The SACCO affords its members the possibility to purchase a gas station on 25 decimal acres. They can also profit from having a single acre of mixed farming, which includes Kienyeji poultry, native vegetable cultivation, and dairy goats. Members have a fantastic opportunity to increase their financial stability and income diversity.

During the visit, SIROWA SACCO emphasized the significance of financial literacy and encouraged church members and the Mothers Union to practice good saving habits. We informed them about the many financial services and products that were available to them and encouraged them to take use of these chances to improve their financial well-being. SIROWA SACCO recognizes the importance of financial literacy in enhancing the financial well-being of individuals and communities, and they are dedicated to fostering financial literacy among their members.

Furthermore, the visit of SIROWA SACCO to St Anne's Anglican Church of Kenya (ACK) was a huge success. SIROWA SACCO's presentation was comprehensive and professional, and it gave church members and the Mothers Union with useful information on the benefits of being SACCO members. SIROWA SACCO's commitment to financial empowerment is admirable, and we hope that more individuals will use the SACCO's benefits to better their financial well-being.

During their visit to St Anne's Anglican Church of Kenya, SIROWA SACCO provided a large donation to the Mothers Union in addition to the complete presentation on financial empowerment. (ACK). The SACCO provided the Mothers Union with two boxes of mineral water, a sack of excellent maize flour, and a sack of maize.

This gesture not only illustrates SIROWA SACCO's generosity, but it also emphasizes the significance of corporate social responsibility. SIROWA SACCO understands that its success is inextricably related to the well-being of the communities in which it operates. As a result, we have prioritized giving back to the communities we serve through various projects and gifts.

Given the current economic hardships that many Kenyan families are facing, the donation of food and water to the Mothers Union is very crucial. The ongoing pandemic has had a substantial impact on many families' livelihoods, making access to basic essentials like food and water increasingly difficult. SIROWA SACCO's donation demonstrates their dedication to supporting the communities they serve, especially during these difficult times.

The donation from SIROWA SACCO also serves as a reminder of the importance of corporate social responsibility. As more businesses see the value of giving back to the communities they serve, it is critical for businesses to emphasize community well-being. Corporate social responsibility not only benefits the communities in which firms operate, but it also contributes to customer and stakeholder trust and loyalty.
