SIROWA SACCO INTRODUCES FINANCIAL INCLUSION TO THE ORONGO BODABODA STAGE AND THE OGWETHI SELF HELP GROUP.

The Sirowa Sacco team visited Orongo BodaBoda stage and Ogwethi Self Help Group on Thursday, March 2, 2023, with the goal of introducing financial inclusion to the community. The team, which included the heads of marketing, credit, and business growth, was on a mission to educate the people on the many products offered by Sirowa Sacco. The team gave information about the following goods during the visit:

JiSort Daily Loan of KES. 500 - This product is aimed to allow locals acquire instant loans of up to KES. 500 to help them fulfill their daily necessities. The loan can be repaid in a week, and timely repayment qualifies you for a larger credit limit.

Karibu Emergency Loans of up to 10,000 paid within a month - This is an emergency loan solution that allows you to borrow up to KES. 10,000 to cover unexpected expenses. The loan is due in one month, and prompt repayment may qualify for a larger lending limit.

Sirowa Sacco also exposed the residents to the National Hospital Insurance Fund (NHIF), a medical insurance policy that provides members with affordable medical coverage.

Sirowa Sacco has introduced the QR card, which is a cashless payment system that allows transactions to be completed without the use of currency. The QR card is linked to one's Sirowa Sacco account, allowing members to easily access their funds. Its major role is to assist bodaboda groups in being quickly identifiable in the event of an incident.

Benevolence Insurance - Sirowa Sacco also discussed the Benevolence Insurance product, which gives financial assistance to members in times of need. The package, among other things, covers funeral fees and medical bills.

Eat Now Pay afterwards Product - The team also offered the Eat Now Pay Later product to the locals, which allows them to enjoy a meal and pay for it afterwards. This product is especially beneficial for individuals who do not have cash on hand at the time of purchasing.

Petrol Station Project - The Sirowa Sacco team also discussed an exciting possibility with the community, which included each member saving KES. 100 per day for 24 months in order for the group to purchase a petrol station. This project intends to empower the community and provide locals with an income-generating opportunity.

The Sirowa Sacco staff encouraged locals to take advantage of the Sacco's products and services to help them reach their financial goals. They also encouraged people of the community to spread the word about Sirowa Sacco to other potential clients in need of financial assistance.

In conclusion, Sirowa Sacco's visit to Orongo BodaBoda stage and Ogwethi Self Help Group was a success, with the locals expressing their gratitude for the information shared. The Sacco continues to work towards its mission of providing financial solutions to the community and promoting financial inclusion.
