  Sirowa Sacco Partners with Ahero Irrigation Scheme Farmers Sirowa Sacco, a leading savings and credit cooperative society in Kenya, has announced a new partnership with Ahero Irrigation Scheme Farmers. The partnership aims to provide much-needed financing to farmers in the Ahero irrigation scheme, which is the biggest irrigation scheme in Luoland, covering approximately 2,000 acres and including over 70 farmer groups totaling approximately 1,200 farmers. The partnership will provide three types of financing to farmers: harvest financing, input financing, and farming financing. Harvest financing will cost KES 7,000 per acre, while input financing, which includes seeds, herbicides, and fertilizers, will cost KES 15,000 per acre. Farming financing, which covers all costs from flooding to harvest, will cost KES 25,000 per acre.
